This place isn't a hotel. I'm not sure what you would call it, but it's nice and affordable and convenient. They call it a B&B alternative because you make your own breakfast. Lovers' Loop Retreat is the lower floor in someone's house. They rent it out for at least two nights.
It's pretty big. There's a large living room with a place to fix meals - microwave, coffee maker, hotplate, little fridge, plates and so on. There's a separate bedroom with a comfortable bed that's nicely furnished. There's also a nice, clean full bathroom. It's all private, clean and neat. There's a fold up ping-pong table, too. A pretty good deal and just about a 10 minute drive to downtown Asheville.
